:wow: holy mother of henna... that's BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING!!!! serious... that's just amazing. i followed the link so i'm not sure if this is in your scraps what but if it is you should def post it in your gallery under traditional art. they have a henna and tattoo submissions thing to post it under. this is just beautiful :nod:

Thank you. It shows the henna that was done on my (now) daughter-in-law for her wedding. Each foot took an hour. The wedding had a peacock/Mid Eastern theme. I don't know if you can see it from the photo, but the design incorporates a peacock. We had a great party where all of the guests got henna patterns.

I like this photo because the mud has partially dried and hasn't been scraped off yet. But, a couple of days later, it was also pretty stunning. The color intensified into a lovely burgundy brown.
